What do we do?

The Welsh as a nation have a proud musical tradition, and understandably, the objective of the band is to produce the finest quality of music that it possibly can.
Throughout a typical year, we will perform 2 to 3 concerts, take part in half a dozen or so competitions, play in about 5 parks during the summer, take part in the local Armistice day memorial service, Carol Concerts and perhaps play at a wedding or Rugby Match too !
Although we take our music making seriously and approach it with a great deal of professionalism, we have a lot of fun too ! Being in a brass band can be as much a social experience as a musical one.

What music do we play?

As all brass bands, we can provide music for almost any occasion. We enjoy the varied repertoire that makes a brass band into what is arguably one of the most flexible of modern musical ensembles. From original pieces, to dance band, from arrangements of classics to film music, there doesn't seem to be a genre of music that hasn't been tackled by brass bands.
